Go steadily and I am sure you will be fine. Have a great trip - I will be thinking of you!
Captain AhabAndy Tidyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05297448211000021970noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-367296273511467142.post-75597334265897809972009-04-29T11:21:00.000+01:002009-04-29T11:21:00.000+01:00Baring stopages, we have booked the tunnel for nex...Baring stopages, we have booked the tunnel for next Wednesday. Thanks for your help. Don't know how we'll manage as we usually only do about 15 lock miles per day!!!Brenda Scowcrofthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08994814944224291458noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-367296273511467142.post-65509219941693916282009-04-28T19:40:00.000+01:002009-04-28T19:40:00.000+01:00Brenda,

We moored in the winding hole above lock 31E, which wll be the last point you can reach before BW unlock the gates the day before your Standedge passage. Lovely spot.Andy Tidyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05297448211000021970noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-367296273511467142.post-57302890428247862472009-04-28T18:59:00.000+01:002009-04-28T18:59:00.000+01:00Brenda

If so, we moored just after Scout Tunnel between locks 11w and 12w, where there is some rare deep water beside the towpath wall. An excellent place to stop. Dont even thing of mooring in Stalybridge!
Glad you enjoyed my report.
Watch out - there is some work being done on the Pylon which will close most of the western side for much of May. I would be interested to know as I am trying to work out when we might get to the tunnel.Brenda Scowcrofthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08994814944224291458noreply@blogger.com
